Dr Teh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2002, earning multiple Dean’s List and Book Prize awards, and began his radiation oncology training at the National Cancer Centre Singapore in 2006. In 2009 he received the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Award for advanced training in Clinical Oncology in the UK, working as an Honorary Clinical Fellow at University College Hospital London and serving with the London Sarcoma Service — one of the largest sarcoma groups in Europe. He obtained his FRCR in 2011 and practised as a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at NCCS from 2011 to 2017.
He was principal investigator of Southeast Asia’s first phase II trial of stereotactic body radiotherapy for prostate cancer, and is first co-author of the publication documenting the efficacy and safety of prostate SBRT in the Singapore population. Credentialed in proton therapy through proctorship at the New York Proton Center and Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, he coordinates the care of AARO patients who would benefit from proton therapy with regional centres — and has personally accompanied patients overseas to provide close clinical support.
